Autumn Equinox has come and gone, and we are just past the peak of harvest season, gathering the last of summer's precious bounty to store for the coming winter. The weather has started to turn noticeably cooler, challenging our immune systems' ability to effectively fight off pathogens and germs.
The main organs that regulate the immune system are the Lung and its partner, the Large Intestine. These organs match Autumn's frequency and are "in charge" of the body's overall energy at this time. Any imbalances related to respiration or elimination will often manifest at this time, usually as coughs, flu, bronchitis, colds, allergies, constipation, and other respiratory or GI ailments.
The good news is that because of this energetic resonance, Autumn is also a good time to "tune-up" these organs for better immunity and gut health. If you harmonize your Qi with nature at this time, then you'll automatically benefit from its healing energies. How can you connect to Nature's energy? By aligning yourself emotionally, energetically, and physically with the consciousness of Autumn, which is about creating balance, cooperation, and letting go.
Everything you encounter in life is a symbol that connects to and mirrors deeper layers of meaning and consciousness, to help you grow and change for the good. If you align your own consciousness with these "symbols" of Autumn, fall can be a bountiful time of contentment and health instead of sickness, allergies, and melancholy. There are always two sides of a coin - which side do you choose to see?
May you enjoy nature's bountiful harvest during 2025's fall season.
